Growing and Training

Malling Elizabeth is a heavy-cropping variety. The plums are potentially larger than average, but you may need to thin the fruitlets in May for the best results.

It is a self-fertile variety, so you won't need another plum tree nearby to pollinate it.

Recommended pollinators for Malling Elizabeth plum trees

Malling Elizabeth is partially self-fertile, so you do not need another variety to pollinate it to produce fruit.
