Malus toringo Aros is a new upright crab-apple. It is a slow-growing dwarf variety, making it ideal for growing in small spaces or in patio planters.
The leaves have the distinctive cut edges, characteristic of the species Malus toringo. They are very dark burgundy colour in the spring, and this colour lasts for most of the growing season. Combined with the upright form they help to make Malus Aros a very distinctive tree.
In spring the deep pink blossom with white centres contrasts with the new leaves.
In autumn there are small maroon-coloured fruitlets.

We recommend you do not prune this variety.
